The Free were a German euro house band. The band was formed in 1994 by Felix Gauder and Olaf Bossi. Then to the band joined Charles Simmons (the music school graduate) and singer Iris Trevisan and they started recording songs in a professional studio.

In 1995 Trevisan was replaced by Ayla J because of Trevisan's health problems. The band released ten singles and one LP.
