It is written in Python and utilizes the GStreamer media framework.2 Exaile incorporates many features from Amarok (and other media players) like automatic fetching of album art, handling of large libraries, lyrics fetching, Last.fm support, advanced tag editing, and optional iPod and MSC device support via plugins.3 In addition, Exaile has a SHOUTcast directory browser, tabbed playlists (so that more than one playlist can be open at a time), Replay Gain support, and an equalizer with presets,4 and Moodbar integration. The source code for the Exaile project is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later.
